I often receive inquiries from prospective students; however there are too many to respond in detail to each one.

Below are the answers to some of the most common questions:

If you are a prospective PhD student: please indicate your interest in working with me in the CMU PhD online application form for MLD, LTI, or CSD programs, as well as in your research statement. We admit new PhD students each year. There is no need to contact me directly regarding PhD applications until admission decisions are out, as applications are decided by committee review, and I will not be able to reply to emails from individual applicants.
